Tom Ogburn is Managing Director of the Business Insight Solutions (BIS) unit at LexisNexis. Named to this position in November of 2013, Ogburn directs this global unit's strategy, market and product direction, and manages the sales and marketing teams. The BIS unit is focused on inspiring business leaders to more insightful decisions. BIS delivers unmatched content from the world’s most reputable sources together with productive tools that help customers uncover new opportunities, work more efficiently, and safeguard business assets.
Mr. Ogburn joined LexisNexis in 1988 and through his career has held various positions in sales, sales leadership, customer support, product management, and general management. Most recently he was general manager for the US portion of the BIS business and took on global responsibilities in 2013.
Mr. Ogburn holds a B.S. and MBA from the University of Dayton and currently lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Caroline and four children.
